Rabbit Turned Aggressive

Question
Our rabbit has recently turned aggressive, found out our infant is allergic so had to put him out in garage, honestly he has not had much attention which is why I have advertised to find him home on ksl,had a family come to get him and he started grunting2my husband and bit him really hard! This is a first,I feed him, clean his cage, give him fresh veggies, fruits&water, but not time to hold,is it because he has not been held or had attention? Or what else could it be? Thought is may be cause he not used to my husband and he can look kind of scary to me sometimes ;) but he just did it to me when i tried to take him out& hold him with a towel! Is it possible to work with him and get him back to a sweet cuddly pet like he used to be? Another thing to consider is that the place we got it from said he is a Holland Lop,yet everyone who has called me said he looks like a Lion head in pics and they have heard those kind are strictly for breeding& are in fact aggressive,is this true? I need to know what to do because if he cannot be worked with I don't want to give him to a family with kids and have them get bitten! Please help!!!

Answer
hi Angela its because he has not been given attention and that is why he is aggressive .
it will take time but you must pick him up everyday and groom him , this way he will come to accept you again.
its a load of bull about lionheads being aggressive all they need is lots of TLC.
Dave.
