Guinea Pig discharge/swelling

I have a guinea pig that looks as if she is having discharge and is swollen and continually wet around her bottom. I'm planning on taking her to the vet this afternoon, but I thought I'd ask you since you might know more about the animal than a vet that doesn't see them very often.

There are a few possibilities as to what is wrong. My first thoughts would be some kind of urinary infection, so the best bet is to get to a vet asap who will be able to diagnose whether the infection is the bladder or the urinary tract itself and give you some antibiotics to treat the problem.
