when can baby guinea pigs be handled when i feed mom they come up to me, they were born 21 dec. can i take mom out of cage (i,ve only had my guinea pigs 3 week and dont know much about them. thanks julie

Hi Julie,

    The pups can be handled at this time, as long as you are very, very gentle and do not let more than one person hold them at a time.  Love and gentle handling at this age may even make them friendlier adult guinea pigs when they mature.
