Question
we had adopted three guinea pig males about two months ago. then we decided to adopt a female, we put one of the males with her and thought he was to big to mate with her, she's a small guinea pig. so we decided to put the smaller male in with her. now we're having problems with the one we put her with in the first place. he's squealing alot and loudley. he's not leaving the other guinea pig male alone, as far as humping him all the time, i think he's hurting him . what is going on? please help!!!!

Answer
Hi Joy

The bigger male is jealous, simple as that. He can smell the scent of the female on the smaller pig and is being aggressive for this reason.

It might be a good idea to keep the small male and the female apart from the jealous one. The other option is to give the small one a bath so the female scent is removed.
