my guines just gave birth should i remove the male to another cage? if so Why?

Hi Wanda

For a long time I would have said you should leave the male babies with the mother until the age of 6 weeks.

However, a lot of people say you should remove them straight away to prevent inbreeding, although I am not sure how true this is.
