igloo removed

Hi Annie, this is Henry again! Well, I took your advice and removed the igloo, first of all. However,  my gionea pigs seem stressful. I wonder if my guinea pigs will act normal and get used to the non-igloo condition. Is it normal that my guinea pigs are acting a little bit stressed before getting used to it?

Yes it's normal for them to act a little more stressed.  They don't have a place to hide any more.  Get an old shoe box and cut one side completely off (if it's the kind that has an attached lid cut that off too).  Put it into their cage with the openings at the bottom and in front.  This will give them a place to hide and feel safe, without making them too solitary.  They will probably be kind of shy and jumpy for a while but in the end they will be more sociable than if the igloo is left in.
