is my pet pregnant ??

hi Nicole, i brought 3 guinea pigs about 3-4 weeks  ago and one of my pets is showing signs of being pregnant, after we had had them a week the vet gave them a check up and we were told they were all female... but recently she has been eating more but becoming allot more picky of her food, has become more plump mainly more to one side than the other...and you can feel movement when touching her in the stomach area,she has also been become more touchy when i try to hold her..also to her friends she shares the cage with... i worried as this is my first lot of guinea pigs and i don't really know what to do . thank you

    It sounds as if your guinea pig is definitely pregnant.  By the way you are describing the feeling that something is kicking from inside her, then she may be due in about a week.  Find out which one is a male and separate him immediately.  The other female, if she is indeed a female, should also be separated until the babies are born.  At that time, she could be put back in for company.
