Question
hello my guinea pigs had baby a couple of weeks ago, now 1 of them is pregnet and its most likely inbred will she be ok? and can u tell me what i can do to help her and the babys.

Answer
Hi Courtney.
If you know the specific date when your guinea pig had her babies, it would help with gauging whether one of the babies could be pregnant herself.    Guinea pigs mature at about 4-5 weeks old which means before this they aren't able to become pregnant.  If the babies are only a couple of weeks old then it could just be that one of them is naturally bigger; remember that there is usually a runt that is likely to be smaller than the other pigs.
I can only suggest you keep an eye on them.  If their growth rate is seeming abnormal in your eyes i would get them checked over by a vet.  Otherwise, make sure that all the pigs are feeding properly and separate the males from the females at 4 weeks old, no earlier.

I hope this helps.
