My guinea pig please answer

Well here's my question well i lined my guinea pig's house with three pieces of construction paper and he just chews on it all the time. I don't know why he is doing this maybe his teeth i don't know but i didn't have time to go get wood shavings n he just really like the construction paper. So do i just keep the construction paper in there or do i take it out. Also i wanted to know if he will be alright i don't want him to die

It is best to give guinea pigs the bedding that is recommended for them, as other materials used may harm them in the long run. You should go out to the shops as soon as possible and buy your guinea pig some suitable bedding such as sawdust, woodshavings or hay. I know you didn't have time to get bedding but it is best if you don't think you are going to get any for a few weeks then to stock up. A guinea pig is your responsibility and it may like some things that aren't good for it. Guinea pigs do like to chew so I would also suggest you buy some appropriate chewing materials when you go to buy your bedding. You can buy some chew toys such as a willow ball or there are some houses you can buy made out of wood for him.
If you are worried about your guinea pigs health or he shows any signs of being lethargic, off his food or not drinking then I would take him to your local vets.
