how do u know  how old your guinea pig  is ?
what homemade toys can you give them and can you give me as much info on breeding guinea pigs as possibe.i just want them to be safe!thank you! amy

You cant tell how old an adult guinea pig is.You can give them cardboard boxes, paper bags, cat jingle balls & 4" pvc pipe just be sure they cant get stuck. As for breeding dont breed a sow for the first time if she is over six months because the babys wont be able to come out and she will die without a c-section, the pups are weaned at four weeks, only allow the female to have one/two litters per year otherwise her life spn will shorten greatly, take the male out and put him in a different cage as soon as you notice the female is pregnanat, dont handle a pregnant female unless yuo have to clean her cage because yuo can hurt the unborn babys.
