Different behavior

Question
We have a young female pig approx 10-12 weeks old. We've had her for 2 months, and she spent most of that time being very busy. She made lots of sounds, was very inquisitive, active and social. We put her in with our 3 year old intact male, and left them together for 2 weeks until it was obvious they had bred. Since that time, Zoe has become much quieter and less active. She is eating and drinking just fine, and does not object to being handled. But her fur is all fluffed out and she spends most of her time resting in a corner. Normal pregnancy behavior? Or possible illness?

Answer
Hi Amy

Any change in a pig's behaviour should be checked in my experience. Therefore I personally would take the pig to an experienced exotic pets vet for a check-up to be on the safe side.

The behaviour itself isnt overly worrying really but I always think its best to play it safe.
