Questionhi i have 3 female guinea pigs. I have been wanting to breed my youngest one and she is about 1 years old now. I once saw a male guinea pig and he is over 4 months old now and i dont know if it would be a good idea to breed her with a younger male! He seems like a well guinea pig and i really want to get him. What should i do?

I'm sorry to tell you this. It's not a good idea to breed your female to any male. Once a sow has reached a year old, her pelvic bones fuse together and it becomes impossible to successfully give birth. If you want to try breeding, I recommend a sow who's about 4-5 months and a male of any age (once they hit about 2 months, they're sexually mature, so it's really ok.) Sorry to give you the answer you probably didn't want. Good luck with any breeding program you may have!
