2 piggies

Question
My guinea pig just died.  He was only 8 months old.  I was very heart broken.  I would like to get 2 this time.  Is it ok to have two males in the same cage?  Is it ok to keep the same cage that the guinea pig died in?  How big of a cage would I need for two?

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your loss, I know exactly how you feel.

2 males should be ok as long as they are babies, preferably brothers.

Yes you can use the old cage but I would recommend giving it a thorough clean to get rid of the other pig's scent. I would suggest that a cage 3/4 metre long would be adequate for 2 piggies, but the bigger the better.
