Guinea Pig ate plastic

My Guinea pig ate a good chunk of his Timothy Hay bag and I read that eating a lot of it can be plastic but I don't know what a lot is or what to do if it is a lot. The amount he ate is smaller than him, smaller than his body, it's just a strip off the bottom and once he got it open he started eating the hay. I'm just really worried and am not sure what to do.

Once my guinea pig ate almost a whole bag of alfalfa plastic.
I watched him carefully over the next few days but there was no change, if your guinea stays happy and healthy there is no problem but I would consult your vet if you see any change.
