Can guineas throw up

My guinea was happy and begging treats 1 hour ago.  About 30 minutes
ago he began to make a weird sound like he was throwing up.  There
seems to be what looks like bile in his nose and mouth.  He does not
want me to pick him up and he is very stressed.  I thought that guineas
did not throw up so I am confused.  I do not know if it makes a
difference but he is albino.  My son who owns him is very concerned.  
What should I do?

Guinea pigs cant throw up but they can do to enough of an extent where the food (bile as you say) can appear to be back in the mouth. I had this problem with one of my pigs, barney recently as part of his mites problem.

Your vet will be able to give your pig some medecine to help his digestive system and they will probably recommend an anti-biotic like baytrill as well to counteract any underlying problem.
