My GP is jumping

Hi Andy

My 3 week old male has started to  periodcally jump or twitch. It actually looks like he has ants in his pants. His 3 week old sister (which I just separated and put into a different cage to prevent babies) did it a few times when she was in the cage with him. What does not mean?

There are 2 possibilities.

1) Your pigs are "popcorning" which is just them having a good time.

2) Your pigs have got ants in their pants, or at least some kind of mites.

Regarding the two pigs being separated, you might like to consider same-sex companions for each so that they have company. Neutering is also an option although this should be a last resort.
