housing 2 together

how can i get my 2 year old pig to get along with my new young guinea pig? i would like to house them together but the older one is somewhat aggressive toward the new one. i have only had the new one a week or so.

hi there sara. I am guessing that your 2 pigs are males. If so, males can be somewhat temperomental and the older pig might be upset if it can smell the mother's scent on the younger one.

Try giving them joint 'lap time' and you might also want to try bathing both pigs together to get rid of any scent.
