QuestionHi, my name is Brian and my ginea pig, Frankie just turned 3 years old. I noticed that he has a lump about the size of a pencil eraser just behind his right arm. The lump is hard and doesn't seem to cause him pain.
Do you think this could be a fatty deposit or a tumor (I hope not)? What advice can you give? I appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Brian

First, I apologise for the delay in my response. AllExperts.com and my computer have been having some difficulties with communication. :) It should be fixed now, though, so any future inquiries should be responded to much more quickly. I am sorry about the delay.
I think the lump could be either a fatty deposit or a tumor, as well as a couple of other possibilities, such as an abcess. I would have this animal checked by a vet to ensure that he is healthy. If the vet gives him the all-clear, and it doesn't seem to be causing him any pain, I wouldn't worry too much about the lump.
I hope this is helpful, and I apologise again for the delay in response. Good luck!
