hello i got a male guinea pig from the mall pet store last month he was a valentines day gift from my dad. well i dont know what to do coz some days my guinea pig will let me pick him up with no problem and other days when i go to pick him up he wont let me he will act like he is gonna bite me,but when my sisters boyfriend comes in he can pick up my piggy with no problem. can u please tell me whats wrong oh yeah i wanna get a female piggy but the male one has been by himself and i dont know if he will attack another piggy can u please help me

Hi Crystal

You have got to give your pig time to adjust to his new environment. Keep trying gently stroke him and pick him up and he will gradually get used to you.

I doubt a male pig would attack a female pig but he will almost certainly try to mate with her.
