Damaged skin

Hi again, Andy.

Recently, I noticed a patch on my guinea pigs skin that didn't have fur on it. Underneath, it was like the skin wasn't there, and there was blood. I don't know what's wrong. Can you please tell me?

Its really difficult to say what the problem might be. Mites and a burst cyst are the two most likely possibilities, neither of which are serious but would need checking by a qualified vet to ensure the correct treatment/action is given.
