eye infection

i just bought a baby guinea pig this week and i think she might have an eye infection. its only open half way and a little crusty on the edges. what should i do and is there any eye drops i might be able to purchase?

the best thing to do is to take your guinea pig to a vet to get antibiotics for her eye. She may have a respiratory infection and that's why her eye is so irritated. Since there are so many holidays coming up, many animals are going to be sick or get sick since there's so much stress on them. I wouldn't try any eye drops with guinea pigs as guinea pigs seem to be sensitive to medications over the counter.
