is my guinea pig ok?

my guinea pig stays in his igloo alot is that healthy for him? He comes out to eat and drink and play but is that ok?

Hi Maria,

It is perfectly fine that your guinea pig stays in his igloo a lot. I also have a guinea named Mr. Piggy who stays in his igloo most of the day. As long as your guinea pig is perfectly healthy it is fine. Guinea pigs like to hide and in the wild they burrow in grasses so I would say it is like his security blanket.
