what is the lifespan of a guinea pig?

Hi Mary,
The average lifespan of a healthy guinea pig is approximately 5-8 years. Although it is rare that a guinea pig would live past the age of 10. The world record of the longest living guinea pig I believe is 15 years old which is very rare.
