about female guinea pigs

do female guinea pigs menstrual?  I would like to know because i purchased her in late march and she has bleeded twice ever since i got her.  the bleeding comes from her rectum. it comes out in a very small amount every time she poops and when she is not pooping, the blood just sits there.  is this normal?

sounds like she could have a urinary infection cause piggies don't have periods. have you fed her beets or anything with red color to them? if so then she could just simply lack the enzyme to digest the color out. in either case, she should  be checked by a vet a/s/a/p
