ok well I'm still not too sure about how to pick up a  guinea pigs and I'm getting them TOMORROW... like i no how to hold it when it is out of it's cage but just not how to take it out of its cage..and also do you no about out of an average of 10 how meany people get females from a pet shop and then find out there pregnant?

Ok, try to bend down to their level rather than swooping down inside the hutch with you hands. Then pick the pig up with one hand underneath the mid section then use the other hand to support the back end.

You other question is very interesting. Piggies are easy to sex so any good petstore should keep males and females apart so pregnancy happens far too often. As for a scale of 1-10, I'm not sure but it happens too often.
