Digging and biting again

hi ya kelly its ali again!
Sorry for asking another question but i got snowy some chew sticks and she likes them i think. But she is still always trying to get out and trying to dig in the corners of her cage to find a way out. Why is she doing it? How do i stop her digging and biting!!!!!!

Hi Ali,

It sounds like your hamster might be a bite bored.  You may want to give her some new toys, or maybe some tubes if you have a Crittertrail, S.A.M., etc type cage.  And, if you don't already have one, I would highly recommend a run-around ball, which is sold in pet stores.  Let your hamster run in the ball for about 10-15 minutes at a time.  (Make sure there are no stairs around.  And supervise her to ensure there are no problems.)  Also, try playing with her more, to keep her company.
