my hamsters hurt and i dont know what to do

when my hamster was chewing on her cage i scared her and i think her teeth got caught and when she flew back i think she hit a little toy castle we have in her cage for her, she bled alot on the first night, but its 2 nights later and she seems to b doing alot better. she has a swollen eye, but the thing that concerns me the most is her teeth look like the might have been pulled foreward, and she makes what seems like a sneezing noise when shes awake. but when shes sleeping she doesnt make any noise. i don't know if shes been eating but i know shes been trying to eat. what do you siggest i do. and if i was to bring her to the vet would it be super expensive?because i dont have alot of money. what should i do? please email me at sparklingbina@hotmail.com

Hi Tina,

  There really isn't much that you can do. I would suggest keeping a watch on her. If her eye starts to look like it is getting infected (redness, pus) then take her to the vet. Most vets don't charge much for hamsters, you could call and ask how much they will charge for your hamster before taking her.
