dwarf hamster sickness?

Question
I have a female siberian hamster ( about 6 months old i think). she was fine last night but this afternoon I realized she had no water, and when i woke her up she looked like she couldnt move but she was still breathing. i thought she might have been dehydrated because she didnt have water (and she usually drinks alot at once).when i tried giving her water she wouldnt open her eyes and she looked like she didnt feel like drinking that much. when she walks she kind of wobbles and her eyes barely ever open. she just sits somewhere (in someone's hand or in a little empty bowl) and doesnt move. what should i do?
p.s. my dad was currently working on making hardwood stairs (and sawdust comes up in the air) could this have caused her to act this way?

Answer
It's possible especially with the sawdust that she has developed an upper respiratory infection.  You may need to syringe feed her water if she's not getting any fluids.  She also needs vet care as hamsters will rarely get better on their own.  They will likely give you an antibiotic.  In the meantime, keep her warm and out of any drafts.

Good luck and let me know if I can be of any more help,
