Newborn Dwarf Hamsters

Hello,
    I really hope that you can help me. I have 12 Dwarf hamsters and i have them separated by boys and girl but before i found out how to tell them apart one got pregnant. and she gave birth this morning and she was eating them.(she was still in the tank with all the other girls)so i took the mother and the babys and put them into a diffrant tank and she still tried to eat them. so i put her back. i really really love these hamsters so does my husban.. so here goes the reason that im seeking your help.. how do i keep them alive? please give all information that you can.

I asked this of Kelly as well, but apparently, it was outside of her expertise, maybe you can help?

I think you can't keep the babies alive because (1 you touched the babies and (2 the mother is under too much pressure. I am sorry very about your problem.
