Hamster keeps squeaking

Question
I have a dark gray dwarf hamster for over a year now, and she never squeaks. Starting this morning she has been squeaking, like she is in pain but I can't figure out why. She only squeaks when she is in her bed, but she hasn't been so responsive today too. She seem fine yesterday when I took her out, and today she just seems fatigue. She keeps walking into her potty box, but she doesn't pee. I wonder if she is having trouble peeing or she is either in pain. What do you think? Thank you!

Answer
Hi Tiffany,

Sounds like she may have a urinary tract infection. It is very important that she drinks plenty of water. If she will not drink by herself, you can try giving her water with an eye dropper. I would  suggest that she be seen by a vet so that if she does have an infection, she can be treated for it.
