will mother stop taking care of babies

hi kelly,

my hamster patches had 10 babies and i have a crittertrail one. the nest was in the petting zone and it stunk really bad so i took the top off the cage and i gently dumped the hamsters and the nest down in the bottom part. i never touched them. will she stop taking care of them. please i need help.

Hi Dylan,

Since you didn't touch them, it's very unlikely that the mother will stop taking care of them.  Also, I'm glad you moved them (without touching them) because they could have fallen down the tubes.
