Question Can my hampster eat grass from outside or horse hay?

Hay is fine for hamsters and grass usually is, too, but there are some plants that are toxic for hamsters. I recommend gathering only plants that you know to be safe: dandelion, chickweed, daisies, ribwort, goutweed (http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/546/), cornflowers, marigolds, pansies for example. The plants mustn't be treated with insecticides or weedkillers.
