see i asked this question because my friend's hamsters are fighting so she separated them. she got another cage. she is trying to sell one of them so when she gets a girl after they have babies she can separate them. but what if no one buys the hamster from her. she is going to have to neuter the girl because she wont be able to get a third cage. that is why i need to know how much it costs to neuter a hamsters and if the injection will affect the milk given to the new born(s).

I'm not sure, you'd need to call vets in your area to see if that's even a service they offer.  It could seem more cost effective to simply separate her from males.

I don't know.  Try calling a local exotic vet clinic.  They'll usually give you pricing but as I said before, I don't know if that is a service that is even available.  If they aren't dwarf hamsters they are all solitary as adults so she'll need lots of separate cages if she's having babies as they'll fight and may even kill each other.
