Doberman past whelping date but acting fine

Our female Doberman is on day 66. Her temp has been going up and down over the past few days, but for the last 13 hrs. it has been steady at 99.4. She has had discharge being thick and clear like mucus. She is still eating, drinking, and going potty. She is keeping herself clean. She is not panting or trying to push, but this is her first litter so we are a little concerned. She does have milk as well. We called our vet and they think everything seems to be doing fine. I just wanted another opinion.

Hi. That thick, clear discharge you see sounds like the mucus plug, they lose that about 24-48 hours before labor starts. I'm with your vet, as lonf as everything is find with mom and pups are moving, I wouldn't worry too much. If she goes another day or two, I would ask the vet to have a look.
