I have two jack russels a bitch & dog both are 2yrs old my bitch is in her 3rd season when is the best time to mate her with my male dog & how soon after birth can we have her sprayed Tina

Breeding typically starts around day 12 of a heat cycle (12 days for the on-set of bleeding).

You can breed the female over the course of a few days while she stands and flags the male.

After the pups are weaned (around 7 or 8 weeks) and before she comes into her next heat is the best time to have her spayed.
