male dogs and their pups

can a father of newborn pups ever eat them like in other animal species? can i let him a round the mother and pups?

Hi. Yes they can, and yes, keep him away from mom and puppies. I'm not saying your male will actually eat them, but it's best to be safe. Mom will most likely not want any other dog around her puppies anyway, and you want to leep her as calm as possible.
