chihuahua stud dog size

Hi, I have four chihuahuas ranging from 5.5lb to 6lb(apple head) and i have a male but he is quite a bit bigger than them (deer head) will this propose a problem with breeding them to him or would i be better of getting a smaller stud dog?

yes this could create a problem. the stud should always be the same size as the female or smaller but never bigger. when you breed with a bigger male the rate of c-section goes up greatly as well as the female being at risk to die when having them. i would go ahead and find a smaller stud to be on the safe side. hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
