I believe my Maltese's water has just broke. We had a vet visit today. She told me we had a few more days. How long after her water breaks before delivery

Answer
Dogs don't actually have water that breaks like a person. She should have lose her mucous plug shortly before labor begins. She might possibly have a pup inside that has already broken the bag. Either call your vet, or an experienced breeder and have her checked out asap
