Question
I have a English Bulldog that is 8 weeks old. He and I are having issues. He has more toys than the law should allow but he seems to prefer my fingers, toes and arms. Is there anything that I can do? I have tried everything I can think of and all he does is growl and come back for more.I praise him all the time when he does something good. As far as his crate he doesn't mind getting in it when he is tired but if he is not he voices his opinion very well. My other question is he is really hyper and very wild when he is let out is that normal? Is it also normal for him to mean  when he gets out as well? Thank You!

Answer
HI STACIE
I CANNOT BELIEVE A WILD BULLDOG, THEY ARE KNOWN COUCH POTATOES.  OUR LOVING OLD BRITA WAS THE BEST GIRL WE EVER RAISED AND HER ASHES SIT ON THE MANTEL.
PINCH HIS NOSE WHEN HE BITES ON FLEASH.  OR SQUEEZE THE NOSE LIKE THE MOMMY DOES IN RAISING THEM ON HER TEETS, THEY BITE HARD, SHE PUTS HER MOUTH OVER THEIR NOSE AND SAYS SOMETHING TO EACH ONE.   I HAVE WATCHED SO MANY LITTERS AND THE MOMS SCHOOLING THEIR BABIES.  SO, THIS IS HOW WE ALSO MUST TEACH THEM.  IT WORKS THE SAME AS THE MOMMYS DO.
YOU COULD GET A WATER SPRAY BOTTLE, SPRAY HIS FACE WHEN HE IS BAD AND LOUDLY SAY NO NO.  THIS MIGHT SCARE HIM INTO REALITY.?
HE IS BEING A BABY, TAKE HIM ON DAILY WALKS, PLAY WITH HIM TO TIRE HIM OUT.  BUT LOVE HIM FOR THEIR LIFE SPAN IS ONLY 8 YEARS, BRITA ALMOST MADE IT TO 12.
