excessive spraying

i have a alaskan malamute cross dog 9 months and when ever we take him any where he starts to spray i.e my sisters sofa the chair in my local pub and when we walk him he sprays at least every minuite. he doesn t do it at home

Answer
While he is entire he will spray as a way of marking his territory.  He does do it at home because there aren't other dogs around at home and they havent marked and his smell is everywhere anyway.  The problem will eleviate to a large extent when he is neutered.  Once he starts spraying it is best to get that done straight away if it is to have any effect on the behavioural problem.
