French Setter?

Hi!I found an injured black dog.Took her to an animal shelter.The vet there claims that she's a FRENCH SETTER.She looks kinda like the Irish Setter,only shorter coat.I tried to look up the internet,but couldn't find any french setter.Is there such a breed?

I have never heard of a French setter. Perhaps you misheard your vet, or maybe he's pulling your leg. Or maybe he knows something I don't. In any case, odds are it's a wonderful mixed breed. Have you made an effort to find the owner? Are you keeping her? If you do, please make sure she stays safe!
