Altitude

Hello,

I live in England, however i am planning a weekend break with my sister Sibble to Scoltand. I am concerned that my dog, Walter, may not be able to cope with the change in altitude. I have never been to Scotland though the pictures I have seen, although beautiful, may be leathal to poor Walter. As far as I can tell Scotland is 3000ft high so would this give Walter altitude sickness like my gran?

I would certainly consult with a vet about this for I have no idea what could happen this high in breathing, etc.
Since I never have plans to travel only to Germany maybe, I think a vet might be your best bet now.  Please do not go until u find out about your pet.
