feeding a shitzu puppy/6 months old

I was just wondering how much a 6 month old shitzu puppy should be eating, she is my parents dog, and when they bought her the breeder told them how much to feed her and it seems like they still only feed her that amount. They said they feed her a TBL spoon every four hours. It seems to me like they should increase that, but I'm no expert, what can you tell me about feeding the right amount for her age?

Im surprised she hasn't starved! Poor baby. She should eat as much as she wants in half an hour to forty five minutes two to three (right now I would feed her three times per day until she gets caught up) times per day. I'm sure her little tummy has shrunk and it will take her some time to increase the amount she eats., but put it down for her, leave it for forty five minutes and pick up what she doesn't eat.
