exercise and nutrition

Two part question: I have a 5 month tweeny Dashound. My husband and i like to walk and hike... how far should we expect our puppy to walk before we need to pick him up?  Which food do you prefer... Science Diet or Chicken Soup for the Puppy's Soul? and why.

Hello, You can likely expect him to walk for 30/40 minutes before he wants to be picked up. THe food I have never used either but both are said to be high quaility. I personly use Authority lite from petsmart for my labrador retreiver, and Blue Buffalo fish and sweet potatoe for my two terreirs with allergies with great results and they love the food so thats great too. I would just check the chicken soup for the soul food and see if its got by products if not that would be the better choice...I know scienace diet contains by products which is why I've never used it...the other just isnt avalible in my area. I dont like foods with by prodcuts because that is chicken feet/stomachs/eyes/beak/cow stomachs/intestins/ junk we humans wont eat.
