Question
I've been reading articles about the ingredients in dog food and I've seen statements about by-products,animal fat, digest etc.I cant find much about the chemicals. Some are minerals, vitamins and forms of salt but how much of it is bad for the dog.How about DRIED ASPERGILLUS ORYZAE FERMENTATION EXTRACT.Wait, don't answer that. Here is my problem.I have 8 hunting dogs. The best food i have found so far in my small town is Black Gold which doesn't look to be really that good. It's about $18.50 per 50lb bag.I want to get them the best i can and not empty my wallet so i need something to compare/identify the ingredients with.OR possibly some recommendations for food that is not a dollar a pound. So what is the best i can do?

Answer
