Question
When would a staffy be to old or to young to get speyed. And how does it affect them.

Answer
any dog can be speyed from about six months onwards.  dogs over seven have more of a risk with the anaesthetic than younger dogs but can still be speyed if appropriate blood tests are done before the anaesthetic.  It wont affect her much personality wise, except that it might reduce her tendancy to become dominant.
The main benefits (other than the obvious no unwanted puppies) are health benefits, like eliminating the risk of pyometra and reducing the risk of mammary cancer.
Hope this helps
