green matter in eyes

My 8 week old boxer has a lot of green matter in her eyes first thing in morning. Could this be allergies? Or what? Vet didn't seem to concerned with it.

Did your vet say what it was, or just told you not to be concerned.
My Veterinarian always gives me an explaination.
If your Veterinarian won't, find another Vet.
This one doesn't sound very caring.
It could be allergies, and it could be an eye problem like an infection.
I have had a lot of dogs with allergies, have never seen green matter in the eyes, mornings or any other time.
Greenish and yellowish colors usually mean an infection.
