whats the best dog food for my chocolate lab?

Hey there. If it's a puppy, then I recommend Iams large breed puppy food. Labs tend to grow very fast & the food supports proper bone & joint growth. It is essential for young, big dogs to be on the proper diet. Stay away from products such a Ole Roy, Pedigree, Kibbles & Bits, etc. No table scraps or canned food either. These are very cheap & VERY unhealthy dog foods. If he is an adult(at or over 2 years of age), then Purina Dog Chow is a great food.  I use that for my adult dogs. But if he's a puppy, he definitely needs to be on a large breed puppy food. The Iams can be purchased from PetCo or PetSmart. The Purina dog chow can be purchased at Wal-Mart. Thanks!
