please help me!!!

My mix breed dog is going to be 3 in January and she still pees when she get excited. we have told people to ignore her and that still does not work, cuz even if they wait until they have been around the house for a long time she still does it. she will even go when my husband and i pay attention to her, so we do not like to even look at her. is there anything that we can do?

This is called submissive urination. Don't scold her for it at all. There's a great website at http://www.ahshc.org/bhv_suburination.asp that can offer solutions to this problem. It can happen to any age dog, and can be solved but takes some time and patience.
