My dog is pooping blood

I dont know what i can do and why is he pooping blood

Dear Teresa,

Thank you for writing to me.  If your dog is pooping blood he is very ill.  You absolutely must rush him to the emergency room.  Without any other details, I can only assume the worst about this situation.  He could have something like Parvo which is fatal if not treated immediately or Giardia which is a vicious parasite and contagious to humans.  In either case, but particularly the first, he must be seen by a vet immediately.
